An Experience of a Lifetime...
Linked below is the Intent to Participate Form. The purpose of this Form is to identify USA Gymnastics Clubs and individuals interested in participating in the 2006 World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon, Portugal, a gathering of nearly 26,000 persons participating in Group Gymnastics (GG) activities. This FIG event is conducted every four years. The information obtained from this form will help USA Gymnastics learn about you and your group in order to provide you with all relevant information to become a part of the Official USA Gymnastics Delegation in July 2006.

Rhythmics America.
 
Rhythmics America is a nonprofit rhythmic gymnastics club based in the Farmington Valley area of Connecticut. Club provides all levels rhythmics gymnastics training, ranging from the recreational gymnastics to the national level competitive training.

Our team is comprised of girls from area towns, ranging in ages from 4-16. Team members hail from Burlington, East Granby, Farmington, Simsbury, West Hartford, Avon and Bloomfield. The team participates in the USAG Rhythmic Gymnastic Program in both group and individual competitions.

Rhythmic gymnastics is one of the newest women's Olympic sports and combines strength, coordination, musicality, grace, and flexibility. Competitors perform choreographed routines using hand held equipment consisting of ribbon, hoops, balls, ropes and clubs.

Our international elite gymnastic coaching staff consists of Reija Vesala, Elena Petrenko and Dina Kozitskaya.


 


We have members competing over a wide range of skill level, from beginners to nationally accomplished gymnasts.

Region IV Level 7 & 8 All Around Silver Medalist Connecticut State Level 6 & 7 & 8 All Around Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists.
In addition, all competing team members have won multiple gold, silver and bronze medals in individual events in the above competitions and have placed in the top one-third in the all around competition.
